A NIGHT OF PRAYER

The Book of Ephesians

Thursday night members of our church, New Hope Town, met for prayer. We gathered in our cozy Manoa Valley office space and enjoyed a potluck dinner while joining in conversations with our fellow Christians. While the meal and community was wonderful, we knew we were there for a reason... to pray. Nearly thirty of our New Hope Town ohana gathered to pray for our church, our community, and each other. In unification with our current message series, the book of Ephesians was chosen to guide our prayers. The Holy Spirit guided people to pray on specific verses as we moved forward through the book. We prayed for unity and maturity, purity and holiness, to know God's will, the marriages of New Hope Town, children and parents, employers and employees, engaging in spiritual warfare, and various other prayer requests. The experience was one of community and purpose. I pray that we have more gatherings of prayer and that you will join us in the next one.
